ERYSI*CHT#__ operates as a mutable installation system: a recursive, machinic organism assembled through reclaimed LED/LCD architectures, databent image-fields, microcontroller logic, infrastructural residue, and post-image signal decay. Each iteration functions as a temporary host-body, absorbing the conditions of its site and reconfiguring them through light, noise, corrupted image material, and recursive visual feedback. E//SICHTR@N develops through modular panels, synthetic colour fields, adversarial textures, and unstable image-sequences that behave as a living membrane between architecture, data, display, and public attention. The project emerged from the logic of machinic misrecognition: images passing through computational degradation, recursive processing, sonification, compression, hallucination, and signal collapse until the visual field begins to operate as a form of material residue. Within this system, the screen becomes a vessel rather than a passive display surface. Pixels become active substrates. Light becomes sediment. The image becomes a circulating field of exhaustion, mutation, and spectral return. Every surface is treated as a host membrane through which entropy, agency, memory, and infrastructural pressure pass.
Ø_RYS_CHRON? is designed as a hypermodular topology. It can occupy a window, wall, gallery, storefront, corridor, façade, or temporary architectural threshold. Each installation changes according to the host site, using the building as a substrate for recursive visual transformation. The system can scale from a compact digital object to a full architectural field, with each panel operating as a node inside a larger image ecology. Through this modular structure, the project behaves as an installation engine: open, adaptive, parasitic, and capable of repeated reconfiguration. The visual material derives from databent and reconstituted images, processed through recursive collapse, spectral artefacting, and algorithmic mutation. These images are pushed into states where landscape, texture, memory, and digital noise begin to merge. Forms appear as residues of machine cognition: unstable, granular, over-saturated, damaged, luminous. The image is no longer resolved into a stable scene; it persists as a fluctuating event, a field of latency, a compressed deposit of environmental, computational, and perceptual force.
It is an instant of catastrophe, buried by ash, heat, pressure, and airborne mineral residue until daily life became an involuntary archive. Its preservation emerges through violent material overwriting; bodies, walls, streets, frescoes, vessels, gestures, and domestic architectures are held inside the residue of their own annihilation.
